Jonathan T. Nessler has been elected to serve a three-year term as a member of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) Assembly.  Jonathan Nessler is enormously grateful that he was elected to this position, and he is honored that he is able to serve the ISBA as an Assembly Member.

The ISBA’s stated goal is to “provide professional services to lawyers, and education and services to the public,” according to its website. The ISBA has been working towards this goal since it was founded in 1877.  The ISBA is a private, not-for-profit corporation with more than 30,000 members.  Each of its members “strives to improve the legal profession and expand access to justice.”

The ISBA is governed by a 27-member board of governors.  This board oversees and implements ISBA policies, and oversees its operations.  The 203-member Assembly, elected by the members of the ISBA, is the policy-making body.  You can learn more about the ISBA and its leadership at www.ISBA.org.

Jonathan Nessler was elected to serve a three-year term as a member of the Assembly, for the Seventh Judicial Circuit.  A total of eight attorneys and judges serve as Assembly Members for the Seventh Judicial Circuit.

Jonathan Nessler has worked for The Law Offices of Frederick W. Nessler & Associates, Ltd. since 2007, where he is now the managing attorney.  Jonathan Nessler primarily handles catastrophic injury cases, medical malpractice cases, and nursing home abuse cases.  He is a member of the ISBA, the American Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.  He is a Barrister member of Lincoln-Douglas American Inn of Court.  He has been named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers (2014-present), and a Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers (2015-present).  He was named Top 40 Under 40 Litigation Lawyers in the State of Illinois, by The American Society of Legal Advocates (2016-present).
