PRACTICE EMPHASIS:

Timothy J. Freiberg practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, workers' compensation, premises' liability, automobile negligence and catastrophic injuries. A significant portion of his practice is also concentrated in the area of civil prosecution of sexual abusers of children and those entities knowingly employing the perpetrators of such abuse.

Mr. Freiberg is also an experienced bankruptcy attorney, having handled numerous cases and is willing to take on bankruptcy cases for debtors in Illinois and Wisconsin.

M.K., et al. v. L.C., et al., The Third District Appellate Court reversed the Peoria County Circuit Court, holding that the amendments to Illinois’s Childhood Sexual Abuse Statute (CSAA), which eliminated the statute of repose and statute of limitations, are to be applied retroactively. (2009)
